| 1983 - 1986 | Taught T.A.F.E. Painting on Kangaroo Island. |  |
| 1984 | Established printmaking and framing facilities in my studio. Neither of these facilities existed on the Island at this time. |
| 1985 | "Come Out" Youth Arts Festival. Designed mural for Kingscote Foreshore Toilet Block. Painted it with T.A.F.E. students, school leavers, volunteers. |
| 1986 | Speaker at Eyre Peninsular Regional Seminar on how an artist lives and works in isolated area detailing childcare options and printmaking as source of income for isolated artists. Other speakers, Anne Newmarch, Cedar Prest, Lawrence Bendle - Stat Exhibitions Officer. |
| 1985 - 1986 | Six months work for 1986 Festival of Arts Under the Sun programme directed by Tony Strachan. Designed and directed the making of Demons and Dragons for inclusion in Procession of 1000 Visions to close the Festival. Drawings hung in Carclew over Festival. Demons and Dragons became part of Festival Galleries Travelling Exhibitions program and were hired out throughout Australia for several years. |

| 1988 | President of steering committee of Kangaroo Island Gallery and one of the founding members. |
| 1988 - 1991 | Served on Advisory Board of Central Region Cultural Authority. |
| 1990 | Employed to establish Arterya Community Artspace in Port Lincoln with facilities for weaving, etching, paper making etc, Visiting Artist's Programme. Taught printmaking at the same time. |
| 1990 | Began series Lean and Uncertain Times. Commercial work included T-shirt designs, commissioned design work, print reproductions. Opened studio at home to visitors. |
| 1991 | Illustrated children's book Pollys Party for Macmillans. |
| 1991 | Received grant from S.A. Department of Arts and Cultural Heritage to complete series Lean and Uncertain Times documenting rural depression for Operation Heartland, 1992. |
| 1991 | Demonstrated printmaking John Martins Store, Adelaide during exhibition of K.I. Artists. |
| 1992 | Opened Jenny Clapsons Gallery in farm shearing shed. Included original prints, t-shirts, displays of preliminary drawings for Polly Party and Dragons and Demons. |
| 1993 | Visiting artist - Ceduna. Printmaking. Opened State of the Art - Art of the State SATEP Exhibition and was a participating artist in the travelling exhibition. |
| 1994 | Acquired site Kingscote Wharf to relocate Jenny Clapsons Gallery. Opened by Minister for the Arts, The Honourable Diana Laidlaw. |
| 1997 | Received Grant from Arts SA for $3000.00 for large etching press to complete large solar plate etchings. |
| 2000 | Solar Etching prints exhibited by Di Longley at University of Western England, Bristol, Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking Conference. |
| 2001 | Youth Group. Worked with group to complete a series of murals. |
| 2002 | Completed artwork for new Department Environment & Heritage Flinders Chase Interpretive Centre. |
| 1999 - 2000 | Designer-coordinator for the South Australian Women's Gathering Arts Project on K.I. Year long project with workshops culminating in 3D Installation/exhibition on Gathering's weekend. Funded by Country ArtsSA, KI Development Board. Travelled around K.I. and to Adelaide. Chosen by Country ArtsSA as one of 3 projects in SA to be documented In 2000. |
| 2003 | Come Out Youth Arts. Worked with teachers/students Kangaroo Island Schools to design human Mandalas to depict the youth culture of each town. Mandalas were photographed by aeroplane & made into postcards. Won its section in SA Great Regional Awards for 2003. |
